Have you ever wondered how long it takes to grow a flower? It takes 13 weeks for flowers to usually grow fully. However, if you follow these steps to growing a flower from a seed it will only take you 7 weeks! By following these steps you will be able to grow a flower in a shorter amount of time and your flower will be able to last longer! All you need to grow a healthy and stronger flower(or flowers) is a container, soil, water, sunlight, and air. Follow this step-by-step essay to grow the prettiest, strongest, healthiest flowers in a short amount of time.

First step, once you’ve chosen your flower seeds you’ll want to give them a proper place to live and grow. This is because as the flower grows it will develop roots every single day till the flower stops growing, its roots will get bigger and bigger. If you plant a seed in a small container you won’t allow the roots to grow causing your flower to die and stop growing. Roots collect water from the soil if roots do not have space it cuts off the water, causing your flower to be dehydrated and die. So make sure your container where you will plant the flower is deep enough and long enough for the roots to grow.        Second step, you’ll need to provide soil for your plant. Soil is basically the ground for a flower. You could use any kind of soil but it’s perfect for you to use soil from a store. Store soil unlike regular soil has a lot of healthy stuff and can make your flower grow faster. If you use regular soil you’ll want to keep an eye out for any critters that might be lurking in the soil. If you use store bought soil you wont need to worry about any critters that might be in the soil. Once you have your soil you’ll want to put the soil in a container, fill the container about half way!

Third step, water is the second most important thing to growing any plant. Just like humans, flowers need water to survive. Flowers can also drown in water just like humans. If your flower has too much water or too little water it will die. When watering your plant the soil should be moist. The way to tell if your soil is moist is simply by patting the soil! The soil should leave your hands wet but not dripping wet. You’ll want to keep your soil hydrated so give your seed water twice every week. Or when the soil loses its moist feeling.

Fourth step, all flowers are different. However, all flowers just like humans need air. When planting your flower(or seed) you’ll want to make sure your flower has enough air. There are several ways to do this. Two most common ways are. Keep your seed outside. Another way is to put your flower outside of an open window. By doing this your flower will be able to get enough air to breathe in and have a chance into growing!

Fifth step, you know that in order for flowers to grow from a seed they need a big place to live and they also need water, soil, and air. They also need sunlight! If you put your flower outside you wont need to stress about your flower not getting enough sunlight, but do make sure that you place your flower in somewhere where sun does reach the flower. If you’re going to leave your flower inside your home usually where a window is there’s also sunlight if there isn’t I suggest putting the flower in another window to get air and sunlight.

Finally, if you follow all these steps correctly you should get a nice strong and healthy flower in a short amount of time. Not only that, your flower will also last for a longer amount of time rather than dieing a week later. Make sure you have a big enough container, that there’s enough soil, you water your seed twice a week, and there’s sun and air. In just7 weeks or less you will have a beautiful and strong flower to keep for yourself or to give to someone else!
