Thanksgiving Madness

As you know Thanksgiving is coming soon. This is a time to celebrate and gather around your loved ones. And eat. It’s also a time to eat a lot of delicious foods. As you know, this pandemic is still here and can still be harmful to you and your family.  I am sure that this Halloween was weird for you… so how do you think Thanksgiving will be? My question to you is, how do you feel about celebrating the holidays with COVID?

For some students, COVID doesn’t bother them because their family is still doing a gathering anyway. But what about you? What are you going to do? I am not suggesting you can’t celebrate, but is it a time when you meet your uncle that you didn’t know existed and his new girlfriend?

What I am saying is Thanksgiving is going to be different this year. Blame Covid. The pandemic does not have to stop you. Maybe celebrate outside in the backyard instead of in a small dining room. Then you could have space between your other family. Maybe have your chair a little farther away this year. Be sure to wash your hands every time you want to eat something. Those are some ways you can keep you and your family safe and healthy. Enjoy the time you have with them, and enjoy yourself.
